MP: Iran To Send Delegation To Beirut To Probe Al-Majeds Death

Tehran, Jan 5, IRNA – Chairman of Majlis National Security and Foreign Policy Commission Alaeddin Boroujerdi announced that an Iranian team will probe the mysterious and ambiguous death of the Saudi mastermind of November 19 terrorist bombing near Tehrans embassy in Beirut. An Iranian delegation will investigate the death of Al-Majed, Boroujerdi said. Under the presence conditions, it is necessary that the Lebanese government should identify the cause of Al-Majeds death and prepare a report in this regard, he added. Boroujerdi pointed to Saudi Arabias role in carrying out terrorist operations in the region and supporting terrorists such as Al-Majed, and said, Saudi Arabia as main sponsor of Al-Majed is not interested in unveiling its role in Beirut's terrorist attacks./end
