MP: Iran Taking Nuclear Negotiations Seriously

Semnan, July 12, IRNA – Senior parliamentarian Kazem Jalali said Iran is quite serious in the ongoing nuclear negotiations with the G5+1. Talking to IRNA on Saturday, he appreciated the support rendered to the negotiating team by the Supreme Leader, officials and the whole nation. He said the government too has taken remarkable steps in this regard. He believed the Western countries should make the most advantage of the opportunity provided to them during the talks with Iran. Terming the process of Vienna-6 talks positive, he said the sides involved in the talks are trying to focus on common points. Jalali urged the West to drop certain political attitudes in the negotiations in order to ensure their success. He further pointed to two most important principles in the Iranian doctrine which stress Iranˈs full right to nuclear technology and the fact that there is no atomic bomb in the countryˈs security doctrine. He noted that Iran is following its nuclear program within the international regulations./end
