MP Urges Foreign Ministry To React To Anti-Iran Confab In Egypt

Tehran, Jan 23, IRNA – Iranian MP Seyyed Shokr-e Khoda Mousavi called on Foreign Ministry on Tuesday to take due action against anti-Iran conference held in Egypt. The conference coincided with Iranian Foreign Minister Ali-Akbar Salehi’s visit to Cairo. Mousavi strongly condemned the conference, saying, the Foreign Ministry should firmly respond to this action and convey concerns of the Iranian nation regarding such measures to the Egyptian government. He said that the Iranian nation’s perseverance in the face of difficulties has made hegemonic powers to resort to defeated groups to take revenge on the country. He held Salafis and British and Saudi governments responsible for the conference and called for Iran’s serious response./end
