MP: US, Europe Biggest Violators Of Human Rights

Zanjan, April 5, IRNA – Member of Majlis National Security and Foreign Policy Commission Mohammad Esmaili on Saturday said the US and Europe were among the biggest violators of human rights. Speaking to IRNA, he said the bullying government of US has been involved in all sorts of crimes against humanity throughout its political life. The MP added the western countries resort to the human rights issues as an instrument to impose their wills on governments whenever they see their interests in danger. The parliamentarian stressed that the governments and administrations which are responsible for the biggest crimes against humanity have no right to talk of human rights and claim defending humanitarian values. Esmaili said the US and Europe will be satisfied with the human rights situation in a country only when it yields all its power and resources to them. Fom the first day of its establishment, Iranˈs Islamic system has highlighted humanitarian values and stressed the need for challenging oppressors, said the MP. He noted that the US and Europe kept issuing human rights resolutions against countries when they realized the latters were not moving in line with their interests./end
