MP: Zionists Disappointed By Iran-G5+1 Talks

Arak, Oct 20, IRNA - Member of the Majlis National Security and Foreign Policy Commission Mohammad Hassan Asafari said on Saturday that Iran’s active participation in the meeting with G5+1 in Geneva disappointed Zionists and isolated the Zionist regime. Speaking to IRNA, he said the usurper regime tried to promote Iranophobia to isolate the country but to no avail and now the Islamic Republic of Iran is at the negotiating table with other six world powers. World countries are now reaffirming Iran's role in any decision making process in the Middle East region as well as regional developments, he said. The recent Geneva meeting was in line with verification of both sides eligibility and the Iranian delegation was serious in confidence building procedure, he said. The Islamic Republic of Iran is ready to play an active role in resolving Syrian crisis but will accept no precondition for its participation in Geneva 2 talks, he said./end
