MPP TO ELECT ITS NEW CHAIRMAN IN NOVEMBER

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ The 28th Congress of the Mongolian People’s Party (MPP) will convene on November 20-21. The Congress will see the election of the party’s next chairman and members of the party’s Council and Conference. MPP Conference, a 331-member structure of the party, held its meeting on September 25 to address several pressing issues including the candidacy for Mongolia’s next prime minister, analysis of the party’s performance in the 2017 Presidential election, timing of the party’s Congress, procedure to elect the representatives of the Congress and others. Party Chairman M.Enkhbold delivered a political speech at the meeting as well. The meeting attendance was low at 58 percent in the beginning around 1 p.m, but rose to 88 percent at the closing of the meeting which was around 5 p.m in the morning of September 26. Kh.Aminaa
