MPP names its candidate for Presidential election

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ A member of parliament Bat-Erdene Badmaanyambuu will run for the Presidential Election, representing the Mongolian People’s Party (MPP). A decision of allowing him to stand for the upcoming election was made at a conference of the MPP held Sunday afternoon. He took major votes from the party members, beating his opponents MPs O.Enkhtuvshin, D.Lundeejantsan and D.Oyunkhorol. The forthcoming election of President has been scheduled on June 26, and Mongolian citizens abroad will give votes on June 14-16 through diplomatic missions. As informed before, the presidential election campaign started on April 22. The General Election Committee (GEC) has already begun a preparation for the election, and this work is going in a normal regime.
