MPs Urge Foreign Ministry To Show Appropriate Reaction To Canada

Tehran, Sept 11, IRNA – A number of Iranian parliamentarians on Tuesday called on the Foreign Ministry to show appropriate reaction to the Canadian government for suspending ties with Tehran. Addressing the Majlis morning session, they called on the Foreign Ministry to take proper steps against Ottawa for closing down its embassy in Iran. MP Alireza Salimi said the inappropriate behavior of the Canadian government in closing down its Tehran embassy indicates the isolation of the western governments and the futile ballyhoo of the Zionist regime. Another Majlis representative, Mojtaba Rahmandoust condemned the Canadian government’s move and said the Zionist regime has been disappointed by the success of the Non-Aligned Movement Summit in Tehran which demonstrated Iran’s power./end
