N-talks to continue in NY until Tue.

NEW YORK, May 03 (MNA) – The nuclear talks between the 5+1 group and Iranian negotiators headed by FM Zarif in New York will continue until Tuesday. The nuclear negotiations between Iran and the Sextet – Russia, China, France, Britain, the US and Germany – saw its third day of progression on Saturday on the sidelines of and following the 2015 NPT Review Conference in New York. The negotiating teams have spent an average of eight hours of talks per day on the terms of the nuclear deal. Concurrent with the deputy level meetings, Iran’s technical and legal expert team and the 5+1 group headed by Director General for Political Affairs at the Iranian Foreign Ministry and nuclear negotiator Hamid Baeidinejad and Stephen Clement, an aide to EU Foreign Policy Chief, worked on the appendixes. There will be no negotiations today, and internal consultation sessions will be held instead. Seyed Abbas Araghchi said on Saturday that the negotiating team aimed at finishing the draft version of a nuclear accord within a few days. He described the process as a 'difficult task' to make sure "the first draft will be full of points of disagreement and parentheses which will be decided upon afterwards.” According to him, the draft will consist of certain appendixes on which the expert teams have been working and the details of which will be fully discussed. Iranian Deputy FMs Seyed Abbas Araghchi, Majid Takht Ravanchi and the EU Foreign Policy Deputy Chief, Helga Schmid have begun the process of drafting a final nuclear agreement since Thursday in New York. The talks have been decided to continue in New York and the next rounds of talks will be then held in Europe. What has been agreed on so far is that the talks will continue in New York until Tuesday. The time and place for the future rounds of talks are still undecided.
