NAM Condemns Manipulation Of Sanctions Against Sovereign States

New York, Oct 15, IRNA – Iran's Ambassador to the United Nations, speaking on behalf of the Non Aligned Movement (NAM) chair-state, condemned use of sanctions against sovereign states. Hossein Dehqani made the remarks at the UN General Assembly Sixth Committee (Legal) on Tuesday local time. UN Security Council's sanctions should not be manipulated by world powers as a political tool to punish certain states, he added.
