NAM Condemns Terror Label Against Sovereign States

New York, Oct 8, IRNA – Ambassador and Charge dÁffaires of Iran to the United Nations Organization, speaking on behalf of the Non Aligned Movement (NAM) chair-state, has condemned threatening of the sovereign countries under the pretext of terrorism. Hossein Dehqani made the remarks in the UN General Assembly's special committee for terrorism on Tuesday local time. The legitimate campaign of nations against occupation and colonialism is not terrorism, he stressed. Dehqani said that NAM condemns using the label of terrorism to threaten sovereign states under the guise of fighting it. NAM calls on all countries around the world to avoid providing political and financial support for terrorists, he announced./end
