NAM Members Condemn Zionist Air Raid Against Syria

New York, Feb 6, IRNA – Non-Aligned Movement (NAM) Coordination Center, which is under chairmanship of Iranˈs representative office in the United Nations, by issuing a strongly-worded statement, condemned the Zionist regime invasion against Syrian aerial space. The statement said that invasion of the Zionist regime against aerial space of Syria and bombardment of a scientific research center in Rif Province, which left seven people killed and wounded, is strongly condemned. It said that the Zionist move is a blatant violation of international law as well as a breach of the UN Charter principles and goals and against an agreement on separation of forces of Syria and the Zionist regime. The statement also declared solidarity with Syrian government and underlined necessity of the Zionist regimeˈs being accountable for its aggressive acts, and called on the UN Security Council members to condemn recent invasion of the Zionist regime./end
