'Nasr' cruise missiles delivered to Army Air Force

TEHRAN, Feb. 10 (MNA) – Iran's defense ministry has delivered 'Nasr' air-launched cruise missile (ALCM) to Islamic Republic of Iran's Army Air Forces. Brig. Gen. Hossein Dehghan who was attending the ceremony of delivering new series of 'Nasr' cruise missiles, officially delivered missiles to Islamic Republic of Iran's Air Forces. 'Nasr' air-launched cruise missile (ALCM) is now manufactured by the Defense Ministry Aviation Industries Organization. Dehghan briefly commented on the missiles during the delivery ceremony; "the missiles is indication of capabilities of the domestic expertise in the Aviation Industries Organization who had been working to meet the requirements of the military in wider fields; updating all Air Force facilities in air battle through optimization, redesigning, and upgrading systems is a priority for the Ministry of Defense," he asserted. "The Ministry has been attending to the Leader's valuable guidelines through indefatigable and pious forces in supporting the military; no barrier would stymie our efforts in the road to advancement." Dehghan then commented on the technical properties of 'Nasr' cruise missile; "it is capable of destroying the target and will provide the Air Force with excellent combat capability and tactical flexibility; it is compatabile with all sorts of air fighters," he added. Dehghan extended his accolade to the Aviation Industries experts and management for a 'fruitful and deterrent' industry and which provided a pillar of country's defense sector and Army Air Forces' good cooperation in bringing this achievement to reality.
