Nasrallah: Iran’s Response To Zionist Regime Will Be Crushing

Beirut, Aug 18, IRNA -- Secretary General of Lebanon's Hezbollah Seyyed Hassan Nasrallah said that Islamic Republic of Iran will give thunder-like response to the Zionist regime in case of any attack by that regime threatening IR Iran's sovereignty and interests. Seyyed Hassan Nasrallah made the remarks during International Quds Day ceremonies attended by hundreds of leaders of political parties from Lebanon, Palestine and some other Arab countries in Beirut. “In case of any possible attack the entire Zionist regime will face the threat of extinction and it will create differences between Israeli leaders and having doubt to carry out such attack,” he added. The Lebanese senior cleric said that the Arab countries witnessed many developments throughout past two years which made the Zionist regime worried and the Zionists in their conferences speak of the presence of strategic threats at great magnitude. He pointed out that after the recent political developments in Syria, the political landscape of Syria completely changed, so that the diplomatic ties between Syria and Turkey deteriorated. “Some people by taking advantage from the recent chaotic situation in Syria are trying to make believe that Iran is the enemy of Arab countries,' Seyyed Hassan Nasrallah added. He said that the Israelis themselves know that they are lying to the whole world about Iran’s nuclear energy program. “The problem of the Zionist regime is with a powerful Iran that is based on beliefs and religiosity and it is committed to the cause of liberating Beit-ul-Moqaddas and Palestine while believing that these issues are uncompromising,” Seyyed Nasrallah further said. He pointed out that Iran despite the problems it had faced throughout tens of years is still committed to the issues of Palestine and Beit-ul-Moqaddas and it has not backed down even an iota from its stance. “On Quds Day I want to ask all Muslims in general and Arabs in particular that when Iran turned into Israel’s number one enemy, shouldn’t it have a meaning for Arab and Muslim nations?” Seyyed Nasrallah said. He pointed out that now the Western countries can purchase from Russia any weapon that they want. “However, if Iran wants to purchase air defense system from Russia, Israel, US and the whole world try to prevent this bilateral deal from taking place,” Seyyed Nasrallah further said./end
