New Afghan ambassador submits copy of credentials to Iranian FM

TEHRAN,Dec.3(MNA) – Afghanistan’s new ambassador to Tehran, Basir Ahmad Noor, on Saturday met with Iranian Foreign Minister Ali Akbar Salehi and submitted a copy of his credentials to him. During the meeting, Salehi spoke of the “historical” and “friendly” relations between the two countries and called for the expansion of strategic ties between Kabul and Tehran. The Afghan ambassador hailed Iran’s support for Afghanistan, particularly Iran’s hosting of Afghan immigrants.
