New Sri Lankan Envoy Submits Credentials To President

Tehran, Feb 25, IRNA – Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad in a meeting with new Sri Lankan Ambassador to Tehran Mohammad Feisal Razin on Sunday called on nations to stand by each other to achieve progress. He described Iran-Sri Lanka relations as “brotherly” and “friendly”. Ahmadinejad expressed hope that during the tenure of the new ambassador in Iran the two countries will witness enhanced bilateral ties. In the meantime, Mohammad Feisal Razin submitted his credentials to the president. Razin for his part called for enhanced economic cooperation between the two countries and Iran’s all-out support for Sri lanka./end
