New Stamps Issued to Mark Day of Sun

Pyongyang, April 15 (KCNA) -- New stamps (one sheetlet and two individual stamps) were issued by the State Stamp Bureau of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea to mark the birth anniversary of President Kim Il Sung, the Day of the Sun. On the upper part of the stamps are letters reading "In Celebration of 106th birth anniversary of President Kim Il Sung" and "Juche 1 (1912) - Juche 107 (2018)". In the center of the sheetlet there is a statue of the President at the shore of Lake Samji. The Torch Tower of the Samjiyon Grand Monument and group of subsidiary theme sculptures of anti-Japanese guerillas are depicted on the individual stamps. -0-
