Newly accredited ambassador of China presents credentials

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ The newly accredited Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the People’s Republic of China to Mongolia Mr Xing Haiming presented a letter of credence to President of Mongolia Ts.Elbegdorj on August 25. After the official ceremony, the President held a meeting with the new ambassador. The President congratulated Mr Xing on being appointed to Mongolia and presenting his credentials at the Hour of the Horse, realizing a fine tradition of Mongolians. “I believe that You will observe very well the important duty to strengthen ties between Mongolia and China”, he said and added that expanding relations and cooperation, intensifying good neighbors’ relations and maintaining consistent partnership with China have always remained a priority of Mongolia’s foreign policy. He emphasized that the two countries’ relations have significantly strengthened over the past few years. We have to attach more focus on mobilizing the issues discussed during the historic visit of Xi Jinping to Mongolia, paid in August, 2014, said the President. He wished abundance of success to the further works of Chinese Embassy in Ulaanbaatar. In response, the Ambassador Xing Haiming expressed gratitude for the warm welcome and conveyed the heartfelt greeting of the Chinese president Xi Jinping. “We are grateful that you are to attend the ceremony for the 70th anniversary of Victory of the Liberation War, to be celebrated in Beijing on September 3”, he added. Th Ambassador promised to put all efforts for upgrading the relations of Mongolia and China, as the president Xi Jinping assigned him to.
