Next meeting between leaders of Russia, Belarus, Kazakhstan to take place on May 8 in Moscow - Lukashenko

ASTANA, March 20. /TASS/. Presidents of Russia, Belarus and Kazakhstan Vladimir Putin, Alexander Lukashenko and Nursultan Nazarbayev will hold the next meeting on May 8 in Moscow. "We agreed to hold a meeting on May 8 in Moscow, we will find time," Lukashenko said after talks with Putin and Nazarbayev. The leaders of the three countries still have to agree on the agenda for the next meeting, the Belarusian president said. The meeting will be a continuation of today’s talks of the three presidents in Astana. The situation in the economy was high on the agenda at talks in the Kazakhstani capital, Lukashenko said. However, political problems, including the situation in Ukraine, were also discussed, he added. "The result of this meeting is that we have the views about all directions of further cooperation. Maybe that’s why the meeting was not so lengthy," Lukashenko said. Read more
