Nicaragua Welcomes Improved Iran-West Ties

Tehran, Sept 24, IRNA – Nicaraguan Ambassador to Tehran, Mario Barquero Baltodano said on Tuesday that his government welcomes improved relations between Iran and the West. In an exclusive interview with IRNA, Baltodano hailed diplomatic efforts made by Iranian delegation to the United Nations General Assembly, saying Iranian new government has adopted a more effective approach to remove obstacles on the way of building better relations with outside world. He reiterated that Nicaragua has always been supporting consultations and dialogue as the best way to resolve problems between different countries. The Nicaraguan ambassador termed Tehran-Managua political ties as exemplary, calling for enhanced economic cooperation between the two countries./end
