Nigerian Party Figure Supports DPRK's Nuclear Warhead Explosion Test

Pyongyang, September 19 (KCNA) -- Damian Ogbonna, national chairman of the People's Progressive Party of Nigeria, released a statement on Sept. 13. The successful test for judging the power of nuclear warheads studied and manufactured in the DPRK is the most just self-defensive measure taken by the Workers' Party of Korea and the government of the DPRK to protect its dignity and vital rights from the U.S. increased threat of a nuclear war, the statement said, and went on: The recent test proves that nothing can stand in the way of the army and people of the DPRK dynamically advancing toward the final victory in building a socialist power. It serves as a serious warning of the army and people of the DPRK to the U.S. keen on deteriorating the situation through provocative war drills and ratcheting up sanctions against the former while denying its strategic position as a full-fledged nuclear weapons state and its just, fair, aboveboard and realistic proposal and efforts for reunification and massively introducing nuclear strategic assets into south Korea. The People's Progressive Party of Nigeria urges the U.S. to recognize the strategic position of the DPRK and come out for the improved relations with it and the international community to conduct more brisk solidarity activities out of fair stance to support the peace-loving stand of the party and government of the DPRK for peace on the Korean peninsula and in the region. -0-
