No Certainty About Istanbul To Be Venue Of Iran-5+1 talks: Spokesman

Tehran, Feb 22, IRNA – Istanbul has yet to be chosen as venue of talks between Iran and G5+1 including the US, Britain, Russia, China and France plus Germany, the spokesman for the foreign ministry said Tuesday. Speaking to reporters during his weekly news conference, Ramin Mehmanparast said Istanbul would most probably be the venue of Iran-G5+1 negotiations. Discussion on the details of talks still continues, said Mehmanparast, adding that the outcome of the visit to Iran of the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) inspectors to Iran may affect efforts to set a framework for negotiations. To a question as to when and where the talks will be held, Mehmanparast said due to the agreement between the two sides to resume talks, there will be no problem in this regard./end
