No need for passport to enter Georgia as of Dec. 10

TBILISI (A.A) - November 28, 2011 - Georgian Deputy Foreign Minister Nino Kalandadze said Monday that as of December 10 Turkish citizens would be able to enter Georgia without a need for passport and vice versa. In a weekly press conference held in Tbilisi, Kalandadze said that a protocol signed by Turkey and Georgia would go into effect on December 10 and will end the requirement for passports between the visits of respective citizens. Turkish citizens would be able to enter Georgia by only showing an ID card and vice versa, added Kalandadze.
