No Threat Can Target Iran: Commander

Tehran, June 18, IRNA - Commander of the Armyˈs ground forces Brigadier General Ahmad-Reza Pourdastan said on Wednesday that no threat can target the Islamic Republic, thanks to combat readiness of the armed forces. Commander Pourdastan made the remarks while touring headquarters of Iranˈs Army Air Force (IRAF) in western province of Kermanshah. The commander emphasized that the IRAF pilots enjoy the highest capabilities and are fully ready to strongly defend the country. Army is ready to give a crushing response to any threat and aggression, Pourdastan said./end
