NY Envoy In Congress: I'm Ready To Travel To Iran

New York, Oct 14, IRNA – New York representative in the US Congress Gregory Meeks said dialogue and interaction between the Congress and the Iranian Parliament are to benefit of both countries and voiced readiness to travel to Iran. Talking to IRNA, the democrat representative stressed the importance of growing dialogue and interaction between the lawmakers of the two countries since he believed it would help expand mutual ties. Underlining the need for parliamentarians from both countries to hold talks, he noted that he had already talked to a number of Iranian legislators and believed such interaction should be even bolstered as it would benefit the two parliaments.
