Officials of DPRK Foreign Ministry Visit Egyptian Embassy

Pyongyang, July 22 (KCNA) -- Vice-Minister Sin Hong Chol and other officials of the Foreign Ministry of the DPRK paid a congratulatory visit to the Egyptian Embassy here on Thursday on the 64th anniversary of the July 23 revolution in Egypt and had a talk with Ambassador Iman Mostafa Abdou Ahmed. The vice-minister congratulated friends of Egypt on the 64th anniversary of the July 23 revolution, its national holiday, and referred to the big successes the Egyptian people have achieved in all fabrics of the society since the victory of the revolution. The friendly and cooperative relations between the two countries are steadily growing stronger under the deep concern of supreme leader Kim Jong Un and President Abdel Fattah al-Sisi, he noted. The ambassador expressed thanks for the congratulatory visit paid by officials of the Foreign Ministry, noting that he was pleased with the big successes made by the DPRK in the building an economic giant, holding Kim Jong Un in high esteem as chairman of the Workers' Party of Korea and chairman of the State Affairs Commission of the DPRK. He said that Egypt would always remember the support and encouragement rendered by the Workers' Party, government and people of Korea to Egypt at the cost of blood during the October, 1973 war and boost the long-standing friendly and cooperative relations between the two counties in all fields. -0-
