OIC condemns attacks on foreign diplomatic representations in Syria

JEDDAH (A.A) - November 30, 2011 - The Organization of Islamic cooperation (OIC) condemned on Wednesday attacks on foreign diplomatic representations in Syria. Foreign ministers of OIC member states released a final declaration at the end of their meeting in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia and urged Syria to end violence. In the declaration, the ministers condemned attacks on foreign diplomatic representations in Syria.  The ministers called on Syrian administration to end use of unproportional force against its own people, respect to human rights and abide by OIC's 10-year action plan. The declaration called on Syria to respond positively to Arab League's initiatives, and said Syria should allow Islamic and international humanitarian aid organizations to enter affected regions of the country to see the humanitarian situation there.
