Omani Official: Joint Military Meetings Benefit Iran-Oman

Tehran, May 15, IRNA - Assistant Chief of Staff for Operations and Planning of Oman Army Brigadier Rashid bin Saif al Sheidi said holding Iran-Oman joint military meetings will benefit both nations. He described as positive the 10th meeting of Iran-Oman joint military committee and said the talks reinforced brotherly and friendly relations between the two countries. He also said that despite the tight schedule of the Omani delegation in Iran, meetings and discussions with Iranian senior officials and commanders were very fruitful and constructive. Iran’s Deputy Chief of Staff of Armed Forces for Operational Affairs Brigadier General Mostafa Salami said the last round of talks, held Tuesday morning, finalized the cooperation agreements between the two countries./end
