Omani Sultan In Tehran

Tehran, Aug 25, IRNA – Omani Sultan Qaboos, heading a high-ranking delegation, arrived in Tehran on Sunday to review issues of mutual interest with senior Iranian officials. Upon arrival, the Omani Sultan was warmly welcomed by Foreign Minister Mohammad-Javad Zarif at Tehran International Mehrabad Airport. The Omani Sultan is the first foreign guest to meet the new Iranian President Hassan Rohani. During his stay in Tehran, Sultan Qaboos is to meet Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei, President Rohani and several other senior officials of the country./end
