Organized Violence Threatening Iraq : Shamkhani

Tehran, Oct 8, IRNA – Secretary of the Supreme National Security Council said Monday that today Iraq is exposed to organized violence. Rear Admiral Ali Shamkhani made the remark in a meeting with the visiting Leader of the Islamic Supreme Council of Iraq Ammar al-Hakim. Shamkhani further condemned the Takfiris’ terrorist operations against the oppressed pilgrims in Kadhimiya. He reiterated that the grounds for creating and activating the third wave of modern terrorism as comprehensive threat against global peace and security are being prepared. He regretted that despite statements made by officials of the influential states, there is no serious determination to counter terrorism and its destructive effects at international level./end
