P5+1 Should Not Be Involved In Any Issues Except Nuclear Energy: MP

Tehran, July 2, IRNA - A parliamentarian said here on Wednesday that if the P5+1 is seeking to reach a comprehensive agreement with Iran, it should not discuss any issues except Tehranˈs nuclear energy. Chairman of Iran-Belgium Parliamentary Friendship Group Abbasali Mansouri Arani made the remarks in a meeting with Director General of Belgian Foreign Ministry for Bilateral Affairs Johan Van Dessel. The Iranian MP said the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) must only review Iranˈs peaceful nuclear program. Praising Iran-Belgium historical relations, he stressed that the ground is properly prepared for enhancement of ties between the two states in political, economic and cultural arenas. Mansouri Arani also called for reinforcement of Iran-Belgium parliamentary ties. Van Dessel, for his part, underlined the need to boost all-out ties between the two countries. He described the negotiation between Tehran and the P5+1 as an opportunity for bolstering relations between Iran and the European countries./end
