Pakistan’s Interior Ministry Declares Islamabad ˈMost Dangerous Cityˈ

Islamabad, Feb 19, IRNA – Interior Ministry of Pakistan has declared Islamabad as the most dangerous city, local media reported on Wednesday. According to a report presented to standing committee of National Assembly, federal capital was termed as the ‘sleeper cell’ of banned Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP), Lashkar-e-Jhangvi (LeJ) and Al Qaeda. The report stated that cross-border criminal elements had become active these days. Illegal weapons and terrorists were invading Pakistan through western and eastern borders. Meanwhile, Lashkar-e-Jhangvi and Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan were the most dangerous groups in Punjab. In Sindh, presence of Lashkar-e-Jhangvi, Al Qaeda militants and target killers were reported.
