Pakistan Chief Justice Calls For Promoting Co-op With Iran

Islamabad, April 21, IRNA – Judge Iftikhar Muhammed Chuadhry , Chief Judiciary of Pakistan in a meeting with visiting Iranˈs Deputy Prosecutor General called for promotion of cooperation between the two countries especially in the field of judiciary. In a meeting here between Chaudhry and Ahmad Mortazavi Moqqadam on Saturday evening, Chuadhry said that presence of Iranian senior delegation in Islamabad international judiciary meeting shows growing trend of cooperation between the two countries, especially in court and judicial affairs. Mortazavi Moqqadam, for his part, expressed pleasure for mutual cooperation in all fields. Islamabad International Judiciary meeting kicked off on Friday evening and representatives from 22 countries attended the meeting to coordinate judiciary affairs for wider justice around the world. Representatives from Iran, India, Libya, France, Britain, USA, Afghanistan, Australia, Maldives, Turkey, Bhutan and a number of other countries are attending the meeting. The meeting is to wrap up on Sunday./end
