Pakistan, China Launch Joint Military Exercises

Islamabad, April 22, IRNA - Pakistan and China have started a two-week military exercise near the garrison of Rawalpindi. “The joint exercise is aimed at sharing mutual experience and information in medical field through a comprehensive training program,” an army statement said. The exercise is particularly designed within the scope of disaster relief operations caused due to massive floods and terrorist attacks on relief camps. The exercise will also provide an opportunity to exchange latest technological advancement in medical field to improve medical operations during peace and war, the statement said. The joint military exercise “Peace Angel 2014” will certainly pave the way for further cementing the existing bilateral relations between armies of the two countries./end
