Pakistan Confirms Zardari To Visit Iran To Attend Rohani's Inauguration

Islamabad, July 29, IRNA – Pakistani President Asif Ali Zardari will represent the country in the inauguration of Iran’s president-elect Hassan Rohani, presidential spokesman told IRNA. “Yes,” president spokesman, Senator Farhatullah Babar said when asked if President Zardari will visit Tehran to attend Rohani’s swearing-in ceremony. The oath-taking ceremony is scheduled to be held on 4th of August. Rohani was elected as Iran’s next president after securing more than 18 million votes, or 50.71% of a total vote, during presidential election back in June.
