Pakistan Editor Flays US Contradictory Policies

Islamabad, Feb 19, IRNA – A Pakistani editor said here Monday American contradictory policies would ultimately become reason for US decline. Talking to IRNA, the Editor of daily ‘The Nation’ Saleem Bukhari asked the US to show rational approach towards Iran and to stop pursuing its bullying spirit. He hailed the remarks by the Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyed Ali Khameneˈie that US officials are irrational people whose words and actions are contradictory who trying to attain their goals through pursuing their bullying spirit. ˈˈThe Islamic Republic of Iran does not want to proliferate nuclear weapons and there is nothing for the US worry about, because, the Islamic Republic of Iran considers possessing or using nuclear weapons as crime against humanity and calls for elimination of WMDs,” said the Supreme Leader. Saleem Bukhari said that the US currently backs the Zionist regime which is equipped with nuclear weapons posing threats against the others. He added that Iran has always followed a clear stance on the Zionist regime. “There is no doubt that the Zionist regime is the center of making and execution of evil designs against the Muslim world,” he said. He said the Supreme Leader has issued a fatwa (religious edict) declaring the production, stockpiling, and use of nuclear weapons as haram (prohibited in Islam). “Iran is enriching uranium for peaceful purposes,” said the analyst. The editor went on to say that said that US is following the contradictory policy towards Iran, Pakistan and other Muslim states. He said that the CIA, the US State Department and Pentagon always give contradictory statements towards Pakistan. “The American contradictory policies would ultimately become reason for US decline,” he viewed. Saleem Bukhari said that the US has been making plots to destabilize the Islamic Revolution for past 30 years but has failed to accomplish its evil designs. He said that the US has to realize that the Iranian nation is fully devoted to the spirit of the Islamic Resolution which cannot be shook by cheap tricks. He went on to say that Iran is a brave nation and has the capacity to undermine all kinds of conspiracies against their homeland. “US cannot dictate its policies in Iran,” said the analyst.
