`Pakistan holds an important place in Azerbaijan`s foreign policy`

Baku, July 7, AZERTAC “Pakistan holds an important place in Azerbaijan`s foreign policy,” deputy minister of economy Rufat Mammadov said at the 31rd RCCI International Achievement Awards ceremony in Baku. Mammadov underlined that agreements signed and events held over the past years play a crucial role in developing the two countries` economic relations. He noted that Azerbaijan and Pakistan hold a significant place in the global trade. “We call on our Pakistani friends to widen relationship. We have to develop the trade to a greater extent,” the deputy minister said. On Azerbaijan`s favorable investment climate, he expressed his confidence that cooperation between the two countries will continue strengthening. President of the Rawalpindi Chamber of Commerce and Industry Zahid Latif Khan told of Pakistan`s latest achievements and the country`s strategic importance. He hailed Pakistan`s close relations with Azerbaijan.
