Pakistani Editor Flays US For HR Violations Of Muslims

Islamabad, Jan 17, IRNA – A Pakistani editor on Wednesday said that west has become a silent spectator on the gross human rights (HR) violations of Muslims, committed by the US in different parts of the world. Talking to IRNA, the Editor of the daily ‘The Nation’, Saleem Bukhari, said that it an international phenomena to single out Muslims by grabbing their rights. “The western world is working on an agenda to weaken the Muslim world so that they could not emerge as a powerful force,” he viewed. The analyst said that United Nations (UN) has failed to protect the rights of Muslims. “They cannot do anything to stop US from its inhuman actions against Muslims,” he added. He said that it is clear that the UN and the West are biased towards Muslims. “The UN is an organization that has failed to implements its own resolutions,” he added. “Nobody should expect balanced policy from the UN as the organization has lost its effectiveness,” he viewed. The analyst said that the US and Zionist regime are killing the Muslims in Afghanistan, Pakistan, Palestine, Iraq and Syria without any reason and yet no action is being taken against them. “I strongly condemn the genocide of the Muslims,” said Saleem Bukhari. The senior journalist was of the opinion that the UN must be held accountable for its criminal silence against injustice with Muslims. The editor urged the Muslim world to get united against the discriminatory western approach towards them. “We must work together to frustrate the western designs,” he suggested. He strongly condemned the role of western media in highlighting the problems of Muslims. “It is not western media but Jewish media having the mindset of Zionists,” said the analyst. Saleem Bukhari said that western media is trying all out efforts to undermine the progress of Muslim countries. “We have to defeat the Zionist mind set,” he said. The analyst expressing his views said that The Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) has become an impotent organization. “It has become an organ of western world,” he viewed./end
