Pakistani Journalist Advises US To Stop Baseless Allegations Against Iran’s Peaceful N-program

Islamabad, Nov 11, IRNA -- A Pakistani journalist on Saturday asked US to stop leveling baseless allegations on Iran’s peaceful nuclear program. Talking to IRNA Baqir Sajjad Syed said that Obama should change his biased approach towards Iran adding that West should start a dialogue with Iran to resolve differences. He added that as US President Barack Obama has returned to White House so he must not follow aggressive policies that could disturb world peace. The analyst added that people of US have posed confidence on Obama as they wanted to give him another chance to review his policies. Baqir Sajjad Syed was of the view that Obama has been rhetorical on some issues but had not taken any practical steps. He had to issue rhetorical statements just to please the Zionist lobby in US. The journalist said that Zionists have not voted for Obama because he was failed to come up to their expectations. “Iran is developing a peaceful nuclear program and there is no justification for US and West for leveling unfounded allegations on Iran,” viewed the analyst. He said that West should start a constructive dialogue with Iran to settle differences. “This is very important for the world peace,” added the analyst. Baqir Sajjad Syed said that West has to realize that Iran is not nurturing any extremist designs. He said that unfortunately some Muslim countries like Saudi Arabia and UAE have been helping Americans by feeling threatened from Iranian peaceful program. “Muslims world have to sit together and evolve a consensus over Iran’s right to peaceful nuclear energy,” the analyst opined. He said that Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has been at odds with Obama. The journalist said that Obama must come out of Zionist’s pressure and play a constructive role to solve the issue of Palestine. “I think Obama is not as much pro-Zionist as George Bush and Mitt Romney are,” he viewed. Baqir Sajjad Syed said that anti-American sentiment is on the rise in Pakistan as there is no people to people interaction between Pakistan and US. He said that policy of Pakistani government to develop strong relationship with US at government level has been back fired. “Sanctuaries in the Pakistani tribal areas must be checked properly so that there is no justification for US to use drone strikes,” he said./end
