Pakistani Politician Praises Iran President For Taking Bold Stand On Ummah Issues

Islamabad, Aug 18, IRNA -- Senior Vice President of a Pakistani political party has praised Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad for his courageous stance on issues related to Muslim Ummah at the OIC emergency summit in Mecca. Talking to IRNA, All Pakistan Muslim League leader Ahmed Raza Khan Kasuri said that presence of Mahmoud Ahmadinejad in the region is a blessing for Ummah. Addressing an extraordinary summit of the Organization of Islamic Conference (OIC), President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad invited all Muslim states to get united and respect essential rights of each other, i.e. freedom, justice and dignity of human beings. Expressing his views, Ahmed Raza Khan Kasuri said that there are Western-sponsored democracies in the Middle East and the western states want to destabilize the nations of the region. The political leader added that the stability in the Middle East is gone in the name of democracy. 'Their (US) next target is Syria and most of the OIC members are pro-West, so they have deseated Syria,' opined the politician. He said all OIC countries deseated Syria at that conference, but President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad opposed the decision. Ahmed Raza Khan Kasuri agreed with Ahmadinejad's remarks that 'friends have been against each other and our enemies have been successful in implementing some of their plans.' He said that when Iranian President says that Zionists have become a threat to the world peace, he is only saying what is written in the Holy Quran. He was of the opinion that President Ahmadinejad is dealing with Americans in a very frank manner and telling them that Iran is fully capable to eliminate their ally, the Zionist regime. 'When Ahmadinejad says something, he means it, so that is why Jews in America are putting breaks to the American system, because they are afraid of Iran,' viewed All Pakistan Muslim League leader. The political leader said that President Ahmadinejad is following the revolutionary principles based on Islamic principles which were introduced by Imam Khomeini. Ahmed Raza Khan Kasuri said that al-Quds belongs to Palestinians and Palestinians should have overall control of al-Quds. He added that Zionist regime should vacate al-Quds and give self-determination right to Palestinians. 'The revolution of Iran is an Islamic Revolution and Ahmadinejad is following the path of Imam Khomeini over al-Quds,' he added. Expressing his views, Mr Kasuri said that Iran is a country which is very close to us we share many commonalities for example the architecture which we inherited has Iranian trends. 'I feel that PIA is the guarantor of the peace of the region. When I say PIA I mean Pakistan, Iran and Afghanistan and if there is some kind of grouping between these three countries I feel this can be a very positive block in this region and could provide stability in the disturbed area where everybody has focused attention,” said the politician. 'We should have further close ties,' he said. Mr Kasuri added that Iran has offered us pipeline which Americans do not like. 'We should not bother about their likes and dislikes,' he opined. 'This project would bring stability to the region,' he said confidently. 'I am very fond of President Ahmadinejad, he is the man who is following the revolutionary thoughts of later founder of the Islamic Republic of Iran, Imam Khomeini (RA) and his presence in the region is a blessing for the Ummah and the way he is progressing and trying to achieve the nuclear capabilities for peaceful purposes with all the opposition of the West particularly the Americans is appreciable,' he said.
