Pakistani Politician Vows To Shoot Down US Drones If Elected To Power

Islamabad, May 5, IRNA - Pakistan Tehrik-i-Insaaf chief Imran Khan on Saturday promised to order authorities to shoot down American drones if he takes power in the upcoming general election, local media reported. Addressing a rally in north western city of Swabi, PTI chairman slammed President Zardari and JUI-F chief Maulana Fazlur Rehman for looting public money. Earlier Imran Khan had said that Pakistani Armed forces and people of Pakistan would not be allowed to fight the American war. Khan said that the Afghanistan issue would be resolved through negotiations and peaceful talks in order to save our own people and Armed forces from dying in the American war. He said Pakistan would not be allowed to become ‘fuel’ to the American war./end
