Paper Accuses S. Korean Authorities of Obstruction to Improved North-South Relations

Pyongyang, December 4 (KCNA) -- During the UN Climate Change Conference held in France recently the south Korean chief executive was busy calling on high-ranking politicians of different countries to solicit "international cooperation," crying out for "dialogue for denuclearization of the north" and their "positive role." She in her "special address" at the UNESCO headquarters blustered that the "north's nuclear development and human rights issue are typical examples of the threat to the whole international community." Minju Joson Friday observes in a commentary in this regard: What she uttered is no more than her last-ditch effort as she is taken aback by the daily increasing authority and might of the DPRK. She is persistently hurting the dignity and social system in the north while shelving the human rights situation in south Korea in the mire of predicament. This indicates that the south Korean conservative ruling forces remain unchanged in their confrontation racket and are set to further intensify it. The south Korean conservative authorities would be well advised to stop their foul acts of hurting the fellow countrymen and doing harm to the process for improving the north-south relations. -0-
