Paper: Trilateral Meeting Of Foreign Ministers Postponed

Baku, Jan 18, IRNA – Newspaper “ Express” published in Baku said that trilateral meeting between foreign ministers of Iran, Turkey and Azerbaijan Republic has been postponed. The paper quoting Foreign Ministry Spokesman Elman Abdullayev wrote on Tuesday that the meeting which was supposed to be held in Nakhchevan on January 17, 2012 has been postponed. Abdullayev said that because of funeral service for ex-president of Turk-side of Cyprus, the meeting has been put off and it will be held next month. The first round of the meeting was held in Iran, Orumieh, late May 2011 and the second meeting was scheduled to be held in Nakhchevan autonomous Republic. Iran Foreign Minister Ali Akbar Salehi underlined at the end of the first round of the meeting that the session was a prelude for expansion of reciprocal cooperation between the three neighboring states./end
