Paris hosts General Assembly of Bureau International des Expositions

Paris, November 15, AZERTAC The 161st General Assembly of the Bureau International des Expositions (BIE) has got underway in Paris. The Assembly will feature the presentations of four countries' bid to host World Expo 2025: Azerbaijan (in Baku), Japan (in Osaka), the Russian Federation (in Ekaterinburg), and France (in Greater Paris). The event heard the report on the completion of the Astana Expo 2017. The General Assembly will also hear the UAE delegation's report on the preparations for the Dubai Expo 2020, and feature presentations by a Chinese delegation of horticulture on the Beijing Expo 2019, a Dutch delegation on the Floriade Almere Expo 2022, and an Italian delegation on the Triennale di Milano Expo 2019.
