PARLIAMENT DISCUSSING SAMURAI BONDS SPENDING

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ A parliamentary session on Friday is discussing a draft resolution on ‘measures to intensify the economy’. Having been submitted on April 18 with a request to be discussed in urgent manner, the above draft resolution was expected to be discussed at Thursday’s session. However, as MPs wanted to ask overwhelming numbers of questions on the matter, the discussion was postponed to Friday’s session. Following the draft resolution, O.Baasankhuu MP’s proposal to dismiss the Justice Minister is expected to be discussed at the session. The agenda of Friday’s session also includes a draft law to amend the law on the Government of Mongolia and draft resolution on Government’s policies on medicine that were submitted by S.Demberel, A.Bakei, R.Gonchigdorj, D.Lundeejantsan, Su.Batbold and N.Battsereg MPs. The afternoon session on the same day will hear responses to inquiries on capital sources and spending of Samurai Bonds listed by the Mongolian Government at Japan’s financial market. The inquiries were addressed to the Finance Minister from D.Oyunkhorol and J.Erdenebat MPs.
