Parliament hails IRGC naval drills

TEHRAN, Mar. 02 (MNA) – In a statement, 220 parliamentarians have lavished praise upon the IRGC naval drills ‘the Great Prophet.’ The statement was read by the Parliament presiding board as the closing item of Parliament open session of Sunday. “The IRGC great naval drills in the most strategic point in Iranian waters once again demonstrated Islamic Iran’s military might before the eyes of the imperialist powers,” reads the statement. “This artful and great drill has stirred a new ray of hope in the hearts of the downtrodden and oppressed multitudes of the world; the drill proved that despite heavy sanctions by the arrogant powers, the heavenly blessings toward the pious and reliance upon the promising youth capabilities, attainment of the world’s most advanced warfare would be possible.” “Using complicated missile systems and advanced weaponry in this drill sent a clear message to the world that sanctions would never prove as barriers in the way of the most resolved men toward the most modern weaponry,” the statement added. “We, parliamentarians, appreciate the IRGC and its valiant commanders and congratulate the Leader of the Islamic Republic and the nation for the feat achieved on time and with majesty,” the statement concluded.
