Peruvian Body Observes Founding Anniversary of DPRK

Pyongyang, September 19 (KCNA) -- The Peru-Korea Institute of Culture and Friendship posted articles on its website on Sept. 2 and 5 to mark the 68th founding anniversary of the DPRK. An article said: President Kim Il Sung was a founder of socialist Korea. His whole life was dedicated to building socialism centred on the popular masses. Many people had a universal concept on socialism till the closing years of the last century. Witnessing the DPRK standing firmly despite the successive failure in some socialist countries, they had a new concept on Korean-style socialism. From a new point of view the international community saw socialist Korea, a man-centred socialism guided by the Juche idea founded by the President. The article introduced the advantages of Korean-style socialism as over the corrupt capitalist society. Another article titled "A weak country becomes power" said the first people's democratic state was founded in the East by the President and the DPRK demonstrated before the world that it is no longer a weak country it used to be by firmly defending the sovereignty and dignity of the nation in the three year-long war provoked by the U.S. imperialists. -0-
