PG, Prominent Symbol Of Iran Identity - Mehmanparast

Bushehr, April 30, IRNA – Foreign Ministry spokesman Ramin Mehmanparast here Tuesday described the Persian Gulf as one prominent symbol of the Iranian identity. Mehmanparast made the remarks at the inauguration ceremony of a museum onf the Persian Gulf sea trade in this southern province. Persian Gulf is one of the strategic places that provides link between Iran and the world, said Mehmanparast. Referring to efforts to forge the name of the Persian Gulf, the Iranian official said this southern region certainly belongs to Iran and such moves indicate that the enemies are always making plots against the great Iranian nation. He then referred to the Persian Gulf region as one of the safest places all over the world, adding Iran does not let any state to create insecurity in there./end
