Philippines VP Arrives In Tehran

Tehran, Aug 29, IRNA – Philippines Vice-President Jejomar Binay arrived in Tehran on Wednesday morning to attend the 16th NAM summit. Upon his arrival at the airport, Binay told reporters that the meeting is very important. He added that considering current developments in international community, the meeting can play an important role in creating mutual understanding among members. The VP said the aim of Tehran meeting is consultation for finding solutions to regional and international crises. Binay called establishment of peace and stability in the world as another goal of the meeting. The 16th Non-Aligned Movement ( NAM) summit will start its 2-day work on Thursday August 30, 2012 here./end
