PM MEETS FRENCH AMBASSADOR

Ulaanbaatar/MONTSAME/ On May 18, Prime Minister U.Khurelsukh met Elisabeth Barsacq, Ambassador of the French Republic to Mongolia. At the meeting, the dignitaries discussed about expanding bilateral cooperation in prevention and combating disasters and keeping the cooperation stable for long period. France intends to implement a project on founding an aircraft fleet to improve capacity of Mongolia’s National Emergency Management Agency; thus, the French Ambassador asked the PM to show all-round supports to the project. In turn, the PM said that he received a detailed information from the Deputy Prime Minister U.Enkhtuvshin and, that he is welcoming the project with gratitude as he was a Deputy Prime Minister in charge of emergency management. Moreover, the Ambassador said she hopes that Mongolia’s Ministries of Health and Food, Agriculture and Light Industry will pay attention on ensuring implementation of the agreement on importing highly-productive cattle from France to Mongolia, established six years ago.
